Gary D Flavin

In the midst of one of the worst winters ever remembered, Gary D Flavin started focusing much of his free time, outside of his Graphic Design Bachelors degree, working with the music industry. It was at this time PointZeroDesigns was conceived. He began to focus on website and print projects. After a few too many sleepless nights and hard work, PZD had an expanding client base that included bands such as Norma Jean, Paramore, Parkway Drive and The Chariot. After college, Gary started working closer with programmer Adam Woloszyn, harnessing his talents to work on expanding web development projects. Looking back, music has been the glue that brought together the pieces of the PZD puzzle and we all like it that way.

Adam Woloszyn

Raised in the Dairy State of Wisconsin, Adam met Gary in 2003 when they played a show together in their respective bands. They hung out, talked about music, talked about web development, and had a good time. For years, Adam worked with Gary doing oddjobs here and there for different projects Gary picked up in the music industry coding static HTML pages and eventually custom backends for bands to keep track of their shows. During this time, Adam attended the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point to further his web knowledge, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems with an emphasis in Digital Media Development. Adam is experienced in server side languages such as VB.NET and PHP, as well as scripting languages like JavaScript or ActionScript 2 and 3. Adam and Gary found that their experience with the web grew tremendously as they worked together closely, and began doing more together. After working through numerous projects and companies, came the strong that survived, PointZeroDesigns.

Brett Widmann

Born and raised in Central Wisconsin, Brett has always had an interest with computing and programming. With his final semester at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, he’s wrapping up his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, Web and Digital Media Development, and Philosophy with emphasis in Religious Studies. While in school, he took interest not only in design in development, but marketing and social media and its relation to the web. He’s worked for local companies such as Planet Label and the Stevens Point Brewery as their social media and SEO consultant. Brett joined up with PointZeroDesigns after becoming reacquainted with Adam Woloszyn while having lunch with some friends and realized they had a lot in common with their vision of the web and development. Brett was introduced to Gary through Adam and the rest is history.
